Day 907 - Book Smart
There are two things in the Ichikawa house that are a constant: Sometimes Andrew will hit Emma, and other times, Andrew will hit Emma. Andrew has become a little more assertive with his older-by-one-minute sister, but not too long ago Emma was the more assertive one. As we have been told by other parents who have twins, the kids will constantly switch and flip-flop their behavior. Why it seems like only yesterday when Andrew was sitting down to pee and Emma was standing up.
If there is one thing that Andrew does not like, it's getting kicked in the nuts. But another thing he does not like is Emma playing with his toy cars. When Andrew saw Emma take a few of his cars, he was not happy at all. He pounced at her, grabbed his cars back, and slapped her shoulder.
Well, Emma did not find Andrew's behavior acceptable at all. "An-doo," she reprimanded. "That not nice. You don't do dat, An-doo!"
To drive her point even further, she walked to the bookshelf, pulled out a book, and gave it to Andrew.
"Here, An-doo. Dis for you," she said.
And what book did she give Andrew?
Not to be outdone, Andrew also walked to the bookshelf, pulled out a book, and gave it to Emma.
