This afternoon, my parents and Auntie Anne (pretzel maven) are returning to Sacramento. But what good would a visit be without at least one more edition of Crazy Grandma Ichikawa Storytime.
As usual, Lisa prepared breakfast for the kids. The breakfast consists of some multigrain cereal mixed with formula, some pureed fruit, and then a few cheerios and cut up bananas. The kids generally enjoy their breakfast.
But this morning, Lisa added too much formula to their cereal. The cereal got runny and no longer had the consistency of porridge. Of course Grandma Ichikawa had to comment about it.
"What you do? Rook at dah cereal! It very runny dis morning. What happened?" Crazy Grandma Ichikawa remarked.
Lisa answered, "I just added too much formula to their cereal. That's all."
To which my mom responded, "You be trippin'!"
