With each passing week, Emma and Andrew interact with each other more and more. Conversely, Lisa and I interact with each other less and less because of their frequent questionable interaction. Taking care of twins is like a marathon because they both involve endurance and the constant second guessing of whether or not it would be wise to take a bathroom break.
For the majority of the time, Emma and Andrew play well together. They will tickle each other, work on puzzles together, play peek-a-boo, and reenact scenes from Flower Drum Song. But there are also times when they piss each other off. If you thought Fight Club was intense, you haven't seen two 22 month year olds brawl over a Yo Gabba Gabba doll. As an aside, a sudden sense of depression just hit me because I referenced Yo Gabba Gabba. How blissful my life once was when I could not name a single Nick Jr. or Disney Channel show...
What I find amusing are the times when everything seems perfectly fine, but abruptly turns into tears and anger. To explain, Lisa captured on camera one of these moments. Please follow along and enjoy this journey from comedy to tragedy...
Here are Andrew and Emma enjoying their day lounging on the only part of our sofa that did not receive a C rating from Los Angeles county.
Andrew decides to take off Emma's sunglasses so he could admire his sister's beautiful eyes.
Wow! Look at those beautiful eyes! Andrew feels so fortunate to have such a phenomenal sister.
Ever the gentleman, Andrew kindheartedly returns Emma's sunglasses to her face except...
..fu*&ing sh*t! Andrew stabbed Emma in her eye, and she will now end up crying for 10 minutes because she is blind.
